Basic biography

Life has changed radically for Michelle the day a stranger approached her in Stockholm subway and told her she had a power to heal.
Born in former Soviet Union Michelle Zarina Gerber received her PhD Diploma from Moscow State University as a radio journalist and at that particular time she was working for Radio Sweden in Stockholm.
She indeed had in her family people known for their ability to heal, using “alternative” methods, but she never gave it much thought until that very day in August 1998.
That stranger turned to be Mr. Ito-san, a Buddhist monk living in Stockholm, a master of martial arts and a massage therapist registered by Japanese Ministry of Health.
Mr. Ito-san offered Michelle a free initial training in his non-commercial school of AMMA (Japanese Energy Massage) in Stockholm.
Michelle agreed and two years later she successfully passed an examination procedure and received a diploma of AMMA massage therapist.
May 2000, she left her job on the radio and became a self-employed AMMA massage therapist offering her services to businesses and individuals in Stockholm area.
August the 20th, 2002 she moved to Cambridge following her husband’s job offer.
While settling in UK, Michelle took a job as a housekeeper at Greens Health and Fitness Club and when she obtained her UK Public Liability Insurance she was offered a freelance position at the same club, making her a therapist rather than a housekeeper overnight.
During a promotional campaign on Christmas time 2002, Michelle offered a 15-minutes free trial for Greens members and 160 slots available were booked during first 6 hours of offer.
Today, Michelle is a therapist with growing reputation among general public and not a least among her colleges. With an average of 20 clients a week Michelle is one of the most dynamic and well presented therapists in local Cambridge media.
